Japanese and German country evening – Japani ja Saksa maailta

This afternoon, I went to the Japanese and German country evening. Georg started with his presentation about Germany which was very interesting. Afterwards, Yukino, Kanako and Azusa were supposed to give their presentation about Japan, but they couldn’t because of some technical problems. The girls then decided to show a traditional tea ceremony, for which they needed two volunteers, I raised my hand, of course. First, the other volunteer (Stepan) and I received a sweet pastry, called Dorayaki, which was delicious. In the meantime, Yukino prepared the tea, which was powder green tea. When Stepan and I were given the cup of tea, we had to spin it twice to the right before we could actually drink the tea. To the end this country evening, we could eat some delicious traditional food from Germany and Japan.

My first name in Japanese.
