Beautiful, perfect few days

The past few days have been truly beautiful!
My boyfriend came to Tampere for a few days, we visited the city together. And during the weekend, I went with my host family and my friend Azusa to the mökki (summer house).
I'll just let the pictures talk for themselves...

End of stay camp

This weekend, I went to Pietarsaari with my fellow exchange students from my chapter for our end of stay camp. There we met the students from Pietarsaari and Kokkola. the place where we stayed was next to the beach which was beautiful and peaceful.
The purpose of the camp was to help us, exchange students, with going back home, handling the changes that happened during our year, etc. It was quite emotional for me, but I had a lot of fun still!

Stockholm.

Last week was a busy one, again. I went on a cruise to Stockholm, Sweden with AFS. There were exchange students from my chapter, but also from Oulu, Seinäjoki, Pori, Helsinki and Joensuu.
The boat left on Monday afternoon, and we arrived in Sweden the next morning. In the evening, there were a few shows on the boat, Brazil was the theme. There was acrobacy, capoeira and also Brazilian religious music. We had a couple of hours to visit the city and then we had to go back to the boat. I mainly stayed in the old part of the city with my friends. We were back in Finland the next morning. Before taking the bus back to Tampere, I spent some time in Helsinki with my boyfriend (yes, you read right :) )

Welcome to Tampere, my friends!

Wow! It's been a long time since I've written something! I apologize for that, I have been quite busy though... Let me tell you why.
After Vappu, my fellow exchange students from Tampere and I welcomed some other exchange students from Pietarsaari and Kokkola. They came for a short exchange as we went there just a couple of weeks earlier. During their stay - from Saturday to Wednesday -, my host family and I hosted Anna, who is from Germany. She also came to my school, Zsofia from Hungary and Lamiss also followed classes with us.
All together, we visited Tampere, and had a nice time, although the weather could have been nicer...

On Tuesday, Anna and I went to Tesoman Koulu (school of Tesoma) with two AFS volunteers and our friend Stepan. We were there to give a presentation about AFS and about exchange programs. The goal was to convince the students to go on exchange with AFS...
